We travel the globe to stay on top of the art trends by attending a series of global art fairs every year. We often host designers at these events as well:

  • 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair
  • ADAA Art Show
  • Affordable Art Fair
  • Art Basel Miami
  • Art New York — Pier 94
  • Art on Paper
  • Dallas Art Fair
  • Expo Chicago
  • FIAC
  • Frieze London
  • Frieze Week New York
  • NADA Art Fair NYC
  • Pulse NY
  • SCOPE Miami
  • Seattle Art Fair
  • SOFA
  • The Armory Show
  • Volta NY

Once a quarter we send out a range of art that inspires us – and every January we issue an art trends report based off our time at Art Basel. If you’d like to see any of our work and/or get on our email list for these reports, contact Jon Cochran,

We attend global art fairs including Frieze London, Art Basel, The Armory Show, SOFA and more – and here are some of the latest trends that we’ve observed.

AAF—Return of Pop-art

The Affordable Art Fair featured vibrant and dimensional works, inspired by the likes of Roy Lichtenstein, with collage and cartoon elements.

Frieze – Immersive installations

We got to step into the artist’s mind at Galerie Herve Bize’s fanstatic Frieze NYC 2016 booth featuring Francois Morellet’s patterned and pixelated artworks.

Scale: Bigger is Better!

Big is back. Rooms are being designed with a focus on large focal pieces in intimate spaces.

Women in Art

2016 is a really strong year for women, with a surge of other women-themed shows including major retrospectives of Catherine Opie at LACMA, Agnes Martin at the Guggenheim, Nicole Eisenman at the New Museum.

Technology Art

Technology is integrating into the art world on so many levels - from artists using virtual reality headsets for immersive experiences or drones to manipulate their paintings.
